Giro Tremor Kids MIPS® Helmet Details:
The Tremor is equipped with the best technologies in the adult range, such as the In-Mold construction for reduced weight and increased durability. It also features the Roc Loc® Sport system, which has been praised for its quick and secure fit adjustments. Tremor’s MIPS models are equipped with an integrated Multi-Directional Impact Protection System (MIPS) that can redirect energy and provide increased protection against certain impacts. This provides the latest in head protection technology for young cyclists.
MIPS (Multi-directional Impact Protection System) is a rotating surface system inside the helmet designed to slow or reduce energy. This can reduce head injuries from rotational impacts.
The Roc Loc® Sport fit system can be easily operated with one hand, with a 7 cm adjustment range. Offering similar comfort to the Roc Loc® 5, this system provides premium functionality for sport-level helmets with ponytail compatibility.
In-mold construction combines a durable polycarbonate outer shell with the helmet's impact-absorbing foam liner. This bonding process provides better ventilation systems and helps in-mold helmets remain lighter and cooler than traditional helmets.
Universal Fit™ helmets are designed to look good and fit comfortably on just about everyone. Shell sizes have been developed based on specific customer groups, combined with an easily customizable fit system, allowing you to get the right fit without the hassle and expense of trying on multiple sizes.
