Designed with Shimano's tubeless sealing system, the rims combine a rim bead section with UST profile for tubeless tires and a special sealing strip with caps and a sealant for the spoke holes. This allows for the superior sealing performance of UST and a simple and reliable strip profile .
Anchor and Cone Bearings
Cup and cone angular contact bearings offer greater strength than sealed cartridge industrial bearings due to their ability to more effectively shift lateral and vertical loads for super smooth rotation and longer durability. Angular contact bearings also provide easier maintenance, adjustability and serviceability.
E-Thru
The tool-free type axle skewer system optimizes rigidity and weight balance and provides easy operation with a reliable internal cam mechanism. High rigidity is achieved while maintaining optimum weight balance. The E-Thru axle hub system minimizes suspension distortion while maintaining lightness for high speed sharp cornering.
