SHIMANO brake pads N04C metal with cooling fins
Original pads with high braking performance for Shimano 4-piston brakes.
With these brake pads, Shimano uses aluminium cooling fins on the brake pads for the first time. These dissipate the heat generated during braking and significantly reduce the tendency of the brake system to overheat! The boundary area can be shifted significantly.
Compared to plastic linings, metal linings offer higher braking efficiency, less wear and tear, and better temperature stability. However, they tend to produce more noise and increase wear on the brake disc.
