🔧 Maxxis Minion DHF 29x2.50" WT DD TR 3C MaxxGrip E-25 Faltreifen
The Maxxis Minion DHF, the world's most preferred and successful downhill tire in recent years, offers excellent performance on enduro and downhill tracks with its improved features. The Minion DHF provides great rolling quietness with its angled treads that offer low rolling resistance and high directional stability. In addition, the longitudinal treads provide increased grip, thus offering precise cornering performance and highly accurate directional stability. These features make it indispensable on fast tracks and challenging freeride and downhill courses.
The Minion DHF is constantly updated and enriched with new versions. Most recently, enduro versions are available in all three MTB tire sizes, and Maxxis TR (Tubeless-Ready) versions are also available.

💨 Tubeless Ready (TR) :
Tubeless (slugless) tires, which do not use slugs, offer many advantages to cyclists. You can ride with lower air pressure , which provides better grip . Rolling resistance is lower compared to slug-treated tires, and the risk of punctures is significantly reduced. Small punctures are quickly sealed with added sealant fluids , extending the life of your tire. In MTB racing, almost only Tubeless Ready (TR) tires are preferred. -
🛡️ DoubleDown Casing (DD) :
DoubleDown (DD) tires have a double-layered carcass structure like downhill tires and are reinforced with a butyl reinforcement in the sidewalls. Thanks to their 120 TPI (instead of 60 TPI) double-layered carcass structure and aramid reinforcements, they are lighter but much more durable than EXO+ models . These features make them ideal tires for tough enduro trails . -
🧪 3C MaxxGrip :
Maxxis's 3C MaxxGrip compound has become a benchmark in MTB downhill racing. Offering maximum grip and shock absorption , 3C MaxxGrip provides excellent traction and performance in downhill races . This feature results in superior handling and cornering performance . -
🏁 Wide Trail (WT) Casing :
The Wide Trail (WT) design optimizes the tire's tread pattern and shape to be compatible with modern wide rims . Traditional tires are designed for narrow rims and are not efficient enough on wide rims. WT tires are optimized for rims with an inner rim width of 35 mm and deliver excellent performance on all rims with an inner rim width of 30-40 mm .
The Maxxis Minion DHF provides excellent grip and performance in challenging conditions such as enduro and downhill , offering optimal traction thanks to its 3C MaxxGrip compound. Its Wide Trail (WT) construction adapts perfectly to wide slopes, while the DoubleDown Casing (DD) construction enhances durability and robustness. This tire also features Tubeless Ready (TR) technology, offering a lower risk of punctures and excellent traction even with lower air pressure.
