Vittoria 3C is a layering process that uses 3 different compounds in the same tread. The different properties of each compound, including "Graphene 2.0", allow for an enhanced experience in all conditions.
Graphene 2.0 (G2.0) Rubber Compound:
When graphene was first introduced in Vittoria’s tires in early 2016, they were putting the stuff in their tires and seeing results, but they also knew that a more targeted approach would provide more performance. Instead of just blending graphene straight into the rubber compounds, Vittoria now uses very specific and very different amounts of graphene in each of the different compounds of the tire. Vittoria can apply graphene in a way that can provide a performance boost, specifically for speed, wet grip, durability, and puncture resistance. They also say that with their latest version, Graphene 2.0, they can target very specific metrics to be improved using the newest materials. For a road or cross-country focused tire, they can use a bit of graphene that not only helps reduce the weight of the tire, but also helps reduce rolling resistance.
GRAPHENE 2.0 (G 2.0) interacts with the rubber by partially filling the space between the rubber molecules. It takes the original Graphene composite from Vittoria and operationalizes the performance improvements for each specific application. In other words, where the first generation graphene composites raised the bar equally, Graphene 2.0 stabilizes every performance metric and disproportionately increases the others.
