Compared to the previous model M8000, this shifter requires 35% less operating force due to the lower cage tension of the rear derailleur and the modified gear ratio. Featuring Rapidfire Plus shift logic, this gear lever enables gear changes from both sides with its 2-Way Release feature. In addition, thanks to Instant Release technology, the shift cable is released as soon as the gear lever is activated, allowing for faster reactions to changing road conditions.
