The BUZZRACER series offers convenient assembly, user-friendly functions and compact storage. The adjustment wheel support allows quick installation of the bikes.
The ratchet cradle is also a great solution for carbon frames as it does not put pressure on the carbon tubes.

Assembly: Even if not mounted The BUZZRACER 3 is very easy to put together: simply mount the wheel support frame to the base using 4 screws, mount the light bracket with 2 more screws, attach the license plate, slide the plastic wheel brackets on, attach the rack to the tow ball without any tools and you're ready to go!
Installation on the vehicle: When you first place the BUZZRACER 3 on the tow ball it supports - you can let it go and it won't fall to the ground. Then you take the weight again, turn the tow ball until it's tight and lock it. BUZZRACK 's carriers comply with the very exacting standard XPR-18-904-4 and therefore include an anti-sway tensioner; this has an integrated handle and 2 or 3 turns are usually sufficient. The video below demonstrates the adaptation to the vehicle and the mounting of the bikes.
Holding the bike: The first step is to adjust the wheel support to suit the bike geometry. Once this is done, the next time you use the rack it will be a breeze to attach the bike. The very special shape of the wheel supports helps to hold the bike vertically when attaching the frame using the adjustable ratchet cradle.
Lighting system: BUZZRACER 3 comes with a 7-pin lighting system. A 7-pin to 13-pin adapter is not included but can be purchased optionally.
Bending: It is easy to tilt and very well balanced even under full load. The BUZZRACER 3 sits quite high on the towbar and the tilt function is optimised to prevent the lights from hitting the road surface, whilst using the weight of the bikes to help bring the bike platform back up to level in a controlled manner. However, this geometry does not allow the opening of high vertical rear hatches – e.g. VW Transporter T5 and T6.
Carrying a bike
The wheel holders accommodate all wheelbases, including small children's bikes. For really small bikes you can reverse the wheel supports.
Long rubber-padded wheel straps grip tires up to 3.25” wide; simply pull to tighten and use the quick-release ratchet to loosen
The BUZZRACER 3 is suitable for all-carbon frame bikes; the rubber-padded bike frame cradles rotate 360 degrees and use rubber-padded straps to hold all types of tubes firmly but gently.
The maximum permissible load is 60 kg and is not suitable for bicycles weighing more than 20 kg.
BUZZRACER Although the series is not optimized for e-bikes, electric bikes up to 20 kg can be carried. The down tube size is limited to 75 mm diameter (3"); whatever bike you have, always load the heaviest bikes closest to the car.
There’s a built-in locking cable to secure your bikes; as usual, cable locks are just a deterrent and don’t provide complete security against theft.
BUZZRACER 3 sits high on its towbar, well clear of speed bumps and other hazards such as steep ferry ramps.

The patented tapered hitch fits all hitch balls, even the occasional bolt-on hitch balls we see that don't meet neck length or ball diameter standards.
