Product Features
This mineral oil is the brake fluid suitable for all Shimano's hydraulic disc brakes such as MTB, road, off-road or trekking. Because it does not bind water, mineral oil has the advantage over DOT in that the quality remains stable for longer – it does not need to be changed as often. Shimano mineral oil is available in 50 ml plastic, 100 ml bottles or 1 liter cans. A Hunli vent kit is available separately for the encoder unit and a Basic bleed kit or Professional vent kit for the Full disc brake. When servicing the brakes, please make sure that no oil gets on the brake discs.
