POINT 5.1:
Heat is the enemy of every brake system. Better heat management will make your journey much safer. DOT 5.1 takes three times longer to reach boiling point than DOT 4.

This ensures smooth and undiminished braking power even under more challenging conditions.

Access Setting:
Brake lever fit and ergonomics are a very personal matter. Riders have unique hand sizes and finger lengths, as well as individual position preferences.

The handle can be easily adjusted with reach adjustment - for maximum control with just one finger.

SwingLink™:
Pull the SRAM brake lever and you'll immediately feel the difference: shorter idle travel and optimized brake pad actuation.

Because of the new cam design, a shorter lever stroke is required to push the brake pads against the brake rotor. Nice, but it takes more than just power to achieve excellent braking performance.

Because you need control. Many brake systems offer a shorter stroke – but at the expense of modulation. SwingLink solves this problem with its special cam shape.

When the brake pads touch the brake rotor, the force is modulated, avoiding the "on-off" brake feeling. This creates the perfect balance between power and precision.

Touch Point Setting:
Some people like the immediate power transfer of a short arm stroke, but others prefer the feel of a longer arm stroke.

With the contact point setting, you can determine the position where your fingers should be when the brakes are applied.

This way you can quickly and easily adjust the feel of your brakes without having to move the pads.

Additionally, both brake levers can be adjusted to provide exactly the same feel.

Bleeding Edge™:
Bleeding Edge technology allows quick and easy bleeding of the brakes. Thanks to the special fluid channel and specially designed air bleed opening, fluid can be pumped out of the brake caliper more easily.

A special adapter can be fitted to the drain port and seals the system to prevent air entry and fluid loss.
