Frames
A new frame determines bicycle fit and usable components. Compare frames by size, wheel dimensions and interface standards. Distinguish mounting accessories such as axles from complete frames, and check every connection before transferring existing equipment.

Determine dimensions before building a frame
Start with rider size and intended use. Consider geometry's effect on riding position beyond tube length alone. List fork, headset, bottom bracket, seatpost, brake and rear hub standards. Do not assume every old part transfers to the new frame. Read frameset contents on the product page. Listing required parts beforehand helps avoid overlooking small necessary fittings while focusing on the main frame.
- Compare recommended wheel size and tyre clearance.
- Verify rear axle diameter, spacing and connection type.
- Examine hanger and cable routing details.
Does the same wheel size mean the same frame size?
No. Wheel diameter and rider frame size are different criteria. Consider geometry and reach together.
Is the rear axle included?
This depends on contents. Check axle, hanger and other fittings; select separate parts by exact frame model.
