Sapim
Sapim is a brand founded in Belgium in 1918, focusing on wheel spokes and nipple heads. Uğur Bisiklet offers CX-Ray straight pull spokes and Polyax nipple heads. Spoke lengths of 276, 294, and 298 mm with brass or aluminum nipple options cater to different wheel builds. Proper matching considers appearance, hub connection, spoke gauge, and calculated length.

How to choose Sapim products?
When choosing Sapim CX-Ray SP spokes, confirm that your hub supports straight pull connection; straight head spokes cannot directly replace elbow spokes. Calculate spoke length based on the rim's effective diameter, hub flange measurements, and lacing pattern. Match the thread size, length, and material of Polyax nipples to the installation requirements. Using 16 mm nipples does not automatically correct incorrect spoke length. Choose the color after ensuring technical compatibility; complete tension and truing checks after lacing.

Frequently Asked Questions about Sapim
Can I use 298 mm spokes instead of 294 mm Sapim spokes?
Spoke length is calculated from the rim and hub measurements; close values are not automatically equivalent. Choose the correct length considering the nipple's thread engagement and the spoke's protrusion.
