Brake Rotors & Lockrings
Choose rotors compatible with hub fitting and brake system. Shimano and SRAM examples offer different diameters and Center Lock or six-bolt attachments. Distinguish rotor from lockring and check hub, caliper and permitted frame/fork dimensions.

Rotor dimensions and mounting must both match
Thickness, pad material and hub fitting matter alongside diameter. Center Lock and six-bolt are different connections. A larger rotor needs more than an adapter; verify frame, fork and brake limits together. A lockring is not a complete rotor.
- Identify hub rotor fitting from the part or specifications.
- Compare diameter and thickness with caliper limits.
- Read supported pad materials.
- Check included lockrings, bolts and adapters.
Will a Center Lock rotor fit every hub?
No. The hub must support that standard. For adapters, separately verify manufacturer approval for rotor and hub.
Can rotor diameter be increased?
Only within all relevant component limits. Do not exceed frame or fork limits; check correct caliper adapter and mounting arrangement.
