Product Description:
The Shimano Dura Ace WH-R9270-C50-TL wheel set is a structure that takes the science of speed to the next level. It was developed as part of the Dura Ace R9200, the new generation 12-speed road bike series. A perfect balance between aerodynamic efficiency, rigidity and low weight is achieved, transferring cyclists' performance to the road. Designed specifically for racing and time trials, this wheel set provides excellent speed with its 50 mm profile height, significantly reducing wind resistance.
The rims are made of carbon fiber reinforced polymer (CFRP) and offer efficient performance in both headwind and crosswind conditions thanks to the special D2 rim design. In addition, the stiffness of the rear rim has been increased and the spoke tension has been balanced thanks to the OPTBAL system and 2:1 spoke ratio. These technologies increase riding comfort and improve the durability of the rims.
Shimano's Direct Engagement technology allows the freewheel body to provide more direct power transmission and a noticeable improvement in starting torque.
