The Maraton GT 365 is the first tyre that can be used safely all year round in almost all conditions. The new sipe tread and the specially developed "FourSeason" compound provide full grip regardless of the time of year you ride. Of course, it is equipped with DualGuard protection technology for maximum safety.
Schwalbe has equipped the Marathon series with the innovative "Anti-Aging" sidewall. The tyre will now tolerate low-pressure overloading for much longer before unsightly cracks eventually start to appear. To develop even better resistance, Schwalbe technicians have carried out hours of rigorous testing.
In the bicycle market, E-Bikes are currently a fast-growing segment, but these electric-powered bicycles place special demands on the tyres. Puncture resistance is clearly more important, because a tyre change or inner tube repair is much more difficult than on a conventional bicycle. Wear is also much higher, because there is more power transmission and the bicycles are also much heavier. With improved puncture protection and greater durability, the new Marathon is much more ready for use on E-Bikes.
DUALGUARD
Dual Guard puncture protection technology combines the principle of two protective layers under the tread.
2 layers of nylon fabric and 2.5 mm high elastic special rubber provide the highest level of protection.
