Basic ergonomics

Easy! Eazzy 4 is very easy to fold, which offers easy lifting, easy carrying, easy assembly, easy storage in the car trunk when you go for a drive.

It can be folded to be stored in the car. This is really handy because with a carrier attached to the vehicle, there is a risk of damage to your carrier and towbar in car parks where other vehicles may damage them. A towbar carrier will definitely make your vehicle too long for a standard car park.

More details about folding: The wheel holder parts can be folded towards the main body and connected with a strap, making it easier to carry with the wheels under the main body. Eazzy 4 is very easy to carry, easy to assemble, disassemble and store. The metal parts are steel, not aluminum, but since it is lifted vertically with 2 hands, it feels surprisingly light and there should be no strain on your back when moving and assembling it. Other carriers that can hold 4 bikes can be a big effort to assemble, disassemble and carry outside the vehicle, but Eazzy4 is designed to overcome all these problems.

Key features of Eazzy 4

Assembly: The Eazzy 4 comes fully assembled. All you have to do is install the lights and the license plate holder, which are attached with just 1 screw on each side.

Mounting to the vehicle: You can easily mount the Eazzy 4 when it is folded, so you have all the space you need to work on the towbar attachment system. When you first place it on the towball it supports itself – you can just let it go and it won’t fall to the ground. You can then take the weight back, turn the tightening wheel until it is tight and lock it. BUZZRACK’s carriers comply with the very exacting standard XPR-18-904-4 and therefore include an anti-sway tensioner; this has an integrated handle and usually 2 or 3 turns are sufficient. Lighting system: The Eazzy 4 comes with a 13-pin lighting system including reverse light and UK-compliant fog lights. 13 pin to 7 pin adapter not included.

Tilting: Tilting is easy and very well balanced even under full load. The Eazzy 4 sits very high on the tow ball and the tilt function is optimised to prevent the lights from hitting the road surface, whilst still using the weight of the bikes to bring the bike platform back up to level in a controlled manner. However, this geometry does not allow the opening of high vertical tailgates – e.g. VW Transporter T5 and T6.

The Eazzy 4 is suitable for carbon frame bikes; the rubber padded bike mount cradles rotate 360 ​​degrees and use rubber padded straps to hold all types of frames firmly but gently.

The maximum allowable load is 60 kg, and a bike must not weigh more than 20 kg.

Although the Eazzy series is not optimized for e-bikes, it can carry electric bikes up to 20 kg (see E-Scorpion for e-bikes); whatever your bike, always load it closest to the vehicle. If there is a weight difference between 2 bikes, make sure the heavier one is loaded closer to the vehicle.

There is a built-in locking cable to secure your bikes; cable locks are just a deterrent, not a full security measure.

The patented tapered joint fits all tow balls, sometimes even bolt-on tow balls that do not meet neck length or ball diameter standards.

The Eazzy 4 sits in an elevated position on the tow ball, away from speed bumps and other hazards such as steep ferry ramps.
