Direto XR-T

DIRETO XR-T is the top of Elite's range of trainers, a very precise device compatible with a wide variety of bike models.

The OTS Integrated power meter provides +/-1.5% accuracy - this is one of the strong suits of DIRETO XR-T, placing it on top of Elite's trainer range with realistic gradient (slope) simulation of up to 24%.

What is the difference between Direto XR and Direto XR-T?

The Direto XR and Direto XR-T are two identical home trainers with the same technical specifications, both structurally and electronically. What sets them apart is the cassette gear that is present in the Direto XR but not in the DIRETO XR-T.

Integrated power meter that accurately measures power output

What makes the DIRETO XR and DIRETO XR-T the most accurate among Elite's trainers is the OTS (Optical Torque Sensor) integrated power meter.

The power meter allows you to effectively measure the power output from your workouts with an accuracy of +/- 1.5%, one of the highest among commercially available trainers.

Simulating the highest gradients

DIRETO XR-T is an interactive trainer, so it automatically adjusts the resistance as you train.

Compared to previous Direto models, the DIRETO XR-T has a larger flywheel and simulates inclines of an astonishing 24%.

This ensures great performance even during particularly intense training sessions - you can check all your training charts at a glance, run tests to assess your fitness level, do maximal power reps and high-speed sprints.

Total compatibility

DIRETO XR-T is one of the most compatible trainers available on the market, perfect for both mountain and city bikes.

This trainer features a new build that's perfect for accommodating long-cage derailleurs with greater capacity on larger 12-speed gearsets. This is how DIRETO XR-T is compatible with 9/10/11 speed Shimano®/SRAM, 9/10/11/12 speed Campagnolo, 12 speed SRAM NX and 12 speed Shimano® micro Spline cassettes.

Use with all indoor cycling software platforms

DIRETO XR-T is fully interactive and communicates with all software platforms via ANT+™ FE-C and Bluetooth, just like all of Elite's direct transmission trainers.

Set up your course or training programs in a few clicks and start pedaling right away. DIRETO XR-T will automatically adjust the resistance and manage your training session.

DIRETO XR-T can be managed through My E-Training software and app (includes 12-month free subscription) or other indoor cycling services such as Zwift, TrainerRoad, The Sufferfest, Bkool, Kinomap and more.

Pedal Analysis

Pedal analysis is a special option available at the top of the Elite interactive trainers, including the DIRETO XR-T.

It is an innovative function that will analyze your power output throughout the entire pedaling motion via a 24-point system.

You can view DIRETO XR-T's data via two types of charts, such as the value of the instantaneous power output during the pedaling motion. This creates a comprehensive assessment of the mechanical efficiency of the movement for the cyclist so that adjustments and corrections are possible as needed.

Pedal analysis functionality can be purchased in Elite's My E-Training software.
Cadence, Speed ​​and Power Data

All Elite trainers rely on instant transmission of power, speed and pedal cadence data to allow you to get the most specific and accurate training plan.

To measure cadence, our trainers utilize practical sensorless technology that can detect pedaling speed without having to attach sensors to the bike frame.

While most of our trainers measure pedal cadence by analyzing speed change, our interactive trainers DIRETO XR-T, Direto X, Direto X, Direto, Drivo and Drivo II measure cadence through power analysis via the innovative built-in power meter OTS.
