When developing the Oakley Jawbreaker, the aim was to create the ultimate sports eyewear. All important aspects had to be aligned: maximum field of vision, eye protection, ventilation of the glasses and adaptability. To achieve these goals, the glasses were developed and tested from the very beginning with one of the most famous cyclists of our time, Mark Cavendish. Eye-tracking tests provided new insights into the optimal lens and frame shape to expand the athlete’s field of vision. Since the upper area of ​​the lens is used more during cycling, due to the sitting position, adjustments were made here as well in the Radar EV. Ventilation openings are provided on both the top and bottom edges of the lens to optimize airflow behind the lens and minimize fogging. The temples are adjustable and offer 3 positions to best adapt to the shape of the head and helmet.
Of course, a handy way to change lenses quickly and easily has been developed for these glasses as well. Fold up the nose pads - remove the metal clip - put the nose pads back in place - move the lower frame arch down - remove the lens - done.

Oakley Switchclock™
New technology allows quick and easy lens changes. The practical quick-release system helps to remove and change lenses in a few seconds (the upper part of the frame can be rotated).

Unobtainium®
Temple tips coated with this material have a stronger grip on the glasses in situations where sweating increases. This means that the glasses always sit securely and firmly.

Patented, innovative High Definition Optics technology delivers unparalleled optical accuracy and quality. A wide range of optional lens colors deliver reliable glare reduction, better color perception, greater contrast and optimized depth perception. The lens material Plutonite® filters 100% of UVA, UVB and UVC radiation as well as harmful blue light components up to 400 nm.

Prizm Road Jade
Prizm Road lenses make it easier to see even small changes in road conditions so you can react faster and perform at your best. Rose-based lens with jade mirror coating enhances contrast, eliminates 85% of ambient light, and filters 100% of UVA, UVB, and UVC light. Light transmittance: 15%.
