- 1-DynaSys : Wider range 11-36 teeth The 11-speed cassette cog means riders can spend more time with their Main Drive Gear than with the 32-tooth chainring. Traditionally, riders with three-speeds had to get used to making two or three bailout shifts every time they shifted to a 22T chainring. With Dyna-Sys, there is only one bailout shift, and fewer need for it. The close-pitch gear ratios of 42-32-24 make shifting smoother and faster. It is easier and more intuitive to switch from the 24-tooth chainring to the Main Drive Gear to the middle chainring. Plus, the shift to the more versatile 24-tooth large chainring is easier, meaning more rider use. Dyna-Sys technology makes gear changes seamless, allowing riders to apply power harmoniously and efficiently while maintaining grip and momentum. All-new asymmetric mountain bike-specific chainring; smoother gear changes, less weight and better overall system performance. Close-pitch gear ratios mean smaller jumps between gears, more efficient chain movement and less chance of chain drop when shifting under hard riding conditions. Redesigned cable routing for greater efficiency and a shorter rear derailleur housing help make the system less prone to dirt, trail squealing or suspension movement. The Compact Cage rear derailleur and smaller oversized big-ring allow for a reduced number of chain links, resulting in a quieter, more stable transmission. The new Long-Arm rear derailleur architecture increases the mechanical advantage for Improved Smooth-Action shifting. Dyna-Sys close-pitch gears are based on a 32D middle chainring, helping to deliver more efficient overall power transfer. 32D is the most efficient and commonly used chainring for off-road riding. Dyna-Sys Technology reduces unwanted impact on suspension performance by minimizing the variation in drive chain position relative to the effective mainshaft of most bikes.
- 2-Way Release : Rapidfire Plus is generally called a trigger because the gear reduction lever is operated by pulling it towards the grip like a pistol. Rapidfire return levers can be operated in the same way, and there is also a function where the gear can be changed by pushing it with the thumb.
- 3-Instand Release: The instant release gear change replaces the two-stage click and conventional release gear changes. The instant gear change releases the cable as soon as the lever is moved, making the fastest possible gear change. Whether it is an upshift with the top normal rear derailleur or a downshift with the low normal rear derailleur, a faster gear change always means a better gear change.
- 4-Multi Release: Previous gear shifting systems shifted faster in one direction than the other. Choosing top normal or bottom normal always meant sacrificing shift speed in one direction. Now you can shift two gears in one motion with multiple gear changes. The result is the fastest possible shifting in both directions regardless of the rear shift selection.
- 5-Ot-Sp41: For fast and precise gear change performance, the entire length of the outer cable is pre-lubricated with a special silicone grease. OT-SP41 reduces the inner cable friction to the maximum level to provide fast response to operations and easy and effortless gear changes.
