SHIMANO Ultegra Chainring FC-R8000 Chainring Leaf
The Ultegra FC-R8000 chainrings allow for particularly smooth and fast gear changes with their special tooth profile, locating pins and climbing aids. This enables smooth gear changes under load, as would normally only be possible with a rear derailleur. Their construction of carbon fibre-reinforced plastic with aluminium teeth helps to keep the weight down while increasing torsional rigidity. The hollow profile of the large chainrings also contributes to this.
NOTE: The letter combinations (MS, MT, MW) behind the tooth numbers must match for the large and small chainrings. Ultegra FC-R8000 chainrings are specially coordinated with each other thanks to climbing aids and can only achieve superior shifting performance in combinations intended by Shimano.
