Exceptional functionality and robust construction make the components the perfect everyday companion for any intended use. As with SRAM AXS components, components are set up in a very short time. Annoying cable displacement is no longer necessary and you can easily adjust gears and adapt them to your needs using the SRAM AXS app with your smartphone. For journeys in adverse conditions, the GX Eagle AXS components are both dust and waterproof (according to the IP69K standard). Battery status can be checked with the push of a button on the rear derailleur before leaving. With just one hour of charging time, the bike is ready for use again in no time. Also, the battery can be changed with a single action.

SRAM GX EAGLE AXS SHIFT LEVER
The AXS controller is the control center of the GX Eagle AXS switchgear. With rocker switch, the controller gives you a completely new switching experience. The buttons on the rocker can be configured individually using the AXS application. In addition to the two switching points in the normal position, the controller offers a sprint shifter on the front of the handlebar that can be operated without taking a finger off the handle.

Unlike the high-end XX1 AXS rear derailleur, the cage of the GX Eagle AXS rear derailleur is made of steel rather than carbon. This lowers the price and makes the rear derailleur even more solid on the road. For this you have to accept almost 100 grams more weight than the top version. The proven overload clutch provides better protection of the rear derailleur in the event of a fall. It temporarily disengages the rear derailleur under extreme loads so it can escape the load and protect the electric motor from damage. But the rear derailleur immediately reverts to engaged gear. As a positive side effect, the rear derailleur suspension and derailleur hanger are better protected in the event of a fall. The Roller Bearing Clutch 3.0 vibration damper together with the X-Sync 2 tooth profiles of the pulleys guarantees safe chain operation.
