EPS : Exceptional Puncture Protection, offering an additional layer of specially rubberized poly-fiber material between the tread and casing. The tight weave of this lightweight, puncture-resistant layer prevents foreign objects from entering the casing and damaging the inner tube.

Level 1 protection: APL Anti-puncture provides an extra protective 1 mm rubber layer between the tread and the casing.
Level 2 protection: The carcass normally contains 22 to 32 TPI. With protection level 2, the carcass contains 60 TPI. The more threads per inch, the stronger the carcass and the more puncture resistant it is.
Level 3 protection: Kevlar® Inside is a technique consisting of a 1.5 mm Kevlar® fibre layer located between the tread and the carcass.
Level 4 protection: Sports tyres also need protection. For this purpose, we have optimised the finely woven EPS layer specifically for racing and ATB tyres. This way, the tyre is extremely light and the cyclist does not notice the difference.
Level 5 protection (LDP): A tyre with Level 5 protection consists of a 3 mm LDP puncture protection layer. This is an extra thick rubber layer between the profile and the casing.
Level 5 protection (EPS): Level 5 EPS protection offers a woven layer of poly fiber fabric between the tread and the carcass.
Level 5 protection (EPS BtB): Level 5 with EPS provides excellent puncture protection, but goes one step further; EPS from thread to thread. This provides additional protection for the side walls.
6 Level protection: Two-pole puncture resistance for twice the protection. The thin woven EPS layer is supported by a 1mm rubber layer. The tyre remains light and flexible because it does not have a thick tyre anti-puncture layer.
Level 7 protection: Level 7 goes further than you might think. We combine 5 layers of anti-puncture to create the best possible puncture protection in the tyre world. A thin woven EPS layer is applied under a 3mm LDP layer. This is a great puncture protection technology on its own. Imagine what this can offer when combined.
